Last night I was on my way to family house and a few miles away from home I lost all my lights (headlamp, tail lights, etc) except my turn signals. I check the fuses and did find the 15amp fuse was burned out. I replaced it but I still don't have any lights. Any where else I should look at on the bike. I have my service manual but doesn't let you know how to troubleshoot. Manual only shows how to remove and replace things on the bike. Not useful at all.

Try one of the tech threads , maybe someone has had the same problem at one time .... can`t hurt !

 

Check connections to battery and ground, and worn wires. Check the fuses again. And there are two "manuals, one is for all the mechanics, the other is called the diagnostics book which is about all the electrical stuff. Two books for one bike. Each 40bucks. Harley is the biggest rip off ever

 

They are pricey.
