Default Sayin Hey to everyone

Hey guys and gals,

Just signed up on the forums. Picked up a new Sportster XL1200C, (literally just drove it back from the store). First bike and figured if I am gonna get a bike why not get a Harley. Looking forward to many long years on this.

Bike was a nice starter bike for me, just the right size not too heavy especially since I am starting out on it. Any tips or suggestions for a new rider?

Still getting used to turning, read some guides and studyied up, ultimately just road around the HD store parking lot til i felt comfortable going out on the road. Doesn't help that Hurricane/tropical storm sandy is blowing pretty hard right now. But I got to admit, I enjoyed the ride from the dealer back to my job. Can't wait to ride this weekend weather permitting.

anyway, nice to be a part of the forums and look forward to talkin to ya all.

Rob

Welcome. I'm just up the road a bit from you.

Did you buy from Adamec or Rossmeyer?
