Congrats on your new ride, nice to see fellow 1200C rider ('08 anniv. issue myself) now the fun starts making it your own with mods. Plus we need details and pics. And if u purchased from Rossmeyer how did they treat u?
Bought it at Rossmeyer, they are right around the corner from my job and always wanted to stop in there. Always said, if I was gonna buy it a bike it had to be a harley and here I am lol.

I'll get some pics hopefully this coming week. Had to drive it home in the wind and rain so now I need to clean it up again. Plus got to take it back to Rossemeyer for a few tweaks.
My purchase at Rossemeyer was very good. The whole experience and everyone I dealt with were quite nice and they ended up giving me a decent deal on the bike to get my payments where I wanted them. All in all I would recommend them and my sales guy Charlie Trader.
When I first started, I rode the wheels off my new nighty in a school parking lot for a month or so. Then I took the MSF (only way to get your license in Texas). Have fun and ride safe!!
Take the MSF or Riders Edge course. Practice in empty parking lots. Don't try to get ahead of yourself. Enjoy.
I plan to take the course within the next few weeks. I spent about an hour or more in the parking lot getting comfortable since it had been close to 20 years since I hopped on a bike. Luckily they have a huge area at destination daytona so it was nice and forgiveable while learning.
I drove it home and then spent most of yesterday riding around town. Feeling much more comfortable already and making sure I keep my distance from other vehicles.
Already wanting to add a few upgrades to the bike.. vance & hines seems stuck in my head lol. I loved the sound of the bike with those pipes.
