I've been riding for about 2 weeks now mostly to and from work. Its around 28 miles round trip and 3 days out of the week i'm riding in the dark. The other day I was working up the courage to do a little lane splitting but no one would move over, when this older guy cruises up with his loud pipes and it's like he's Moses parting the red sea. So i've come to realize that my stock pipes are not loud enough. I understand that the Short Shots are very popular, but i'm looking for something different. I came across SANTEE® 1 3/4" SHOTGUN DRAG PIPES , I was thinking i could cut them short and add Mooneyes turnouts. Has anyone had experience with these pipes? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
