Nice brother. Something about those nightsters and the solo seat are bad ***. I am in the same boat as you. New to me and a new bike, I picked up an 08 xl1200n with 800 miles. I am having issues with it, mainly due to it sitting so long and its out of warranty. I also have a 65 pan Electra glyde. That one is easy to work on. The nightster and efi are kicking my ***. Sorry , enough of my crap. Dig the bike!!! You can do so much with those.

 

Hmm sorry to hear about probs but it shouldnt be that hard. I am over in SD but lived in Chandler (ocotillo) for the previous 12 years, great riding weather just started! : )

I would drain and refill the tank and start running seafoam through the system to help break down any effects from bad gas. I would be surprised to hear the injectors were bad just from sitting. Are you having any leaks? Or what is it doing? Do you have pipes and a remap?

This bike is a slight departure in that I am looking for stuff to take OFF the bike v. adding things.

What do you guys think about removing the stickers on the right downtube,the one with the vin and whatever the second one is???? The vin is stamped on the head, dont see any reason for the stickers/

 

What did you pay if you don't mind me asking.

My rocker covers are leaking too, a little more quality would be appreciated HD
