If so, what did you go with? I've decided with all the chopping and future plans I have for my bike, struts, and a spring seat are coming in the next couple months of winter, but I'm having a really hard time finding a decent priced kit. At least, not much under $600...is that what most pay??

And I'd like to think maybe there are other options, so I'd like to see/hear what others with the Custom went with, the main problem with these years of course being the ECM is mounted behind the seat, leaving it in plain sight, so I'm hoping for a cheaper option, as I am not concerned with having a super fancy custom stitched seat with designs and all that, thanks for any input guys!

 

I have a 48 but just yesterday I installed a 16" LaRosa spring seat. I absolutely love it. My suspension is still stock and it makes a much better ride.

 

I built a custom solo saddle out of some sheet aluminum and steel flat bar for support and the bracket. Bought some springs from lowbrow customs and used the wife's yoga mat for cushion. All in all I think it ran me about 40 bucks and a headache. Good luck.
Oh and as far as the ECM goes just put that thing somewhere else, there's a bunch of you tube videos on where and how to do it.

 

What did you do to fill the hole in the fender?
