First thanks for your service.
The people that have a problem with you riding a Harley becouse of the color of your skin already have a problem with you becouse of the color of your skin and they are racist idiots. Buy what you want and ride the hell out if it you have definitely earned it. Ride safe

take a look back at the old mc's of harleys
http://www.nabstmc.com/
Btw, I am a Puerto Rican, and sometimes people do stare, but never say a thing.
I am normally one of the youngest people at most of the rides, and normally the only one, or maybe there might be two more hispanics.
No one judges me different, no one makes fun of me, no one says anything about me riding a sportster. we all ride because its what we enjoy.
Its one of the few things where a common interest brings everyone together, regardless of race, gender, or what you ride(sometimes)

I have a real close buddy that is Hispanic and he was a little weary of the race issues when we got into riding Harleys. It has never been an issue and we ride wherever we want.
On the down side, I still see **** and racist stuff on patches and stickers at bikefests all of the time. That kind of stuff dies off hard. I hope you get a sick bike and join the family. I would be happy to ride along with ya.
