Default always support the local small guy...

....that's what my dad taught me. And today I did, and couldn't be happier. Got a one-off custom seat (my inspiration was the old king/queen seat mixed with a drum set throne seat) and two custom fender bibs...all for $70. Wife's seat, backrest and custom lowers to match will b made Wednesday for $50. Everyone says it looks good and feels better than a $250 let pera. Feels a hell of a lot better than that stock crap that was on it!

On my phone so I hope this pics come out right!

You had that made locally? You should share the guys name that did the work. Sounds like a hell of a price.

Absolutely, when the small guys are gone their will not be anybody to replace them.
And buy the looks of what you got and the price it makes you stop and think.

Looks great!

It's awesome to find local/reasonable/under appreciated craftsmen.

I'm sure he could get some decent business from this forum!

His name is Chris Taylor. He works here in Fort Polk, La at a local shop called RJs Leather and Upholstery Shop. They do it all. Watches him make a set of saddlebags for $100. Guy is cheap, but the work isn't. He just loves what he does. He does not really advertise just word of mouth. If anyone would like to get a hold of him his business # is 337-353-1580. Thanks for ur opinions guys!
