I found a great front wheel I like. It's a 3 spoke mag, but I really like my solid "fatboy" rear wheel and want to keep it. I found a place that will chrome it for $550 per set including shipping and I've heard they have a pretty good rep. I only need the rear done, so it should be cheaper. Do you think they'll look good together. Anyone else running the solid with a mag?

Not really an answer to your questions except, yes I've got mag spoke (Harley 6-spoke--expensive) on the front and Harley's chrome slotted solid on the rear. I just finished changing out the rotors and posted a couple close-up photos of them here which also shows the wheels I have -- if that helps any.

As to the wheels you're considering, I like the first straight spoke one. The swoopy ones look too much to me like those used on many of the metrics. Again, for what it's worth.
