Anyone have a set of these apes mounted on a 48? I am curious to how they look with 9.5" bottom tube since the 48 front end is the mid glide and measures in at 11". Pictures if you have them would be great. I was thinking of going with a set of 14" or 16"s. Also any feedback on the quality of the bars and cables kits would be appreciated.

Nice, you mind telling me how tall you are an if the 14"s fit you well?

 

Here are my 14in road 6 custom bars on my sporty...they are perfect and I'm 5'6...I almost think I could've gotten 16's.

 

Nice they look good with the orange grips. Thanks for the height info, I think I am leaning towards 16's as I am 5'11.

 

In person they don't look that big so 16's would probably be perfect for you.

 

Thats good to know, plus here in NY if they are above your shoulders you get a ticket. Sense I am already riding around with loud *** pipes I don't need to give them any more reason to harass me. It's hard to tell but it looks like those 14's are about shoulder height in your profile pic?

 

I'm 6'2" and the bars are about a fist below my shoulders. Hope this helps you out.
