2010 1200 spotster electrical nightmare
Here's one for you electrical guy's. It started with my rear marker lights not eluminating, check bulbs and current to the bulb, all good there. Blinkers work fine. Than I thought i would check some others and noticed my high beam is not working. Sat and pondered for a little while went out again and now no left turn signal front and back not working and no indicater light on my speedo. So now i'm not touching the bike until i get a little advice. I'm thinking the module is bad that ties all the lights for blinkers and tail light is bad, any ideas???????????????????????????

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF.
What actually works on your bike? Will it start and run for example? Have you checked your fuses? Have you changed anything on your bike recently, such as fitting short rear shocks, different handlebars? Give us some more details and we will see what we can do!

Nothing new to the bike. I have apes on it the wiring has been fine for over a year, same with the license plate replacement. One night after work i noticed they were not on and now just testing the wires for current for some reason it's getting worst. This is why i believe it the circut board under the seat, but everything works on it with direct power. All the fuses were replace besides the starter rely, the fuses were fine but just to rule them out. Bike starts and runs, just no Headlight, left blinkers, or back marker light. Everything on the license plate works, braking etc

If your bike is under warranty by any chance, take it to a dealer. Diagnosing electrical problems over the internet is a nightmare! If not, there is only the prospect of going over the entire wiring, for those things not working, to check ground points and electrical continuity. A chafed wire, or loose/corroded ground can cause far more problems than it should. Also check your main power battery cables are clean and tight at both ends. Dogged determination and diligence are your friends!
Finally, if you can't make progress, don't mess around over this for too long. Take it to a dealer or indy. It will obviously cost, but should get you back on the road quickly.

The rear wiring harness is attached to the top of the rear fender thru a rubber boot that is glued to the fender. I had a similar problem and what happened was the wiring harness was laying on top of the tire getting chewed up. Check that to make sure your rear wiring harness is correctly mounted/attached to the inside top of the fender and theres no problems back there.
