Default Ape hangers

Ok I'm.looking at 16 in road 6 ape hangers and a burly 16 inch kit.

My two ?? Are
1. Any benefit from the road6 over normal bars? Besides looks.

And would a 16 inch burly kit have enough slack to use 18 inch bars?
Thanks

The cables in the burly kits are too long.. go with a smaller size than what it says. The 16 kit will easily have enough slack for the 18" bars.. but I'd either go with the burly 14" or measure how much extra you actually need over the stock cables and ask them for a measurement on the cables in their 12" kit. They really are much longer than what they should be for what they list them to fit.

I agree with Sam. I installed the Burly 14's and cable kit on my 48 and then went up to 16's and did not have to change the cables, wires etc.

I'm with them I have 14" bars and the 14" burly cable kit is too long. But if your planing on going to 18" bars, why not just put them on? I would not want to spend all the time putting the wires in the bars only to do it again later.
As for road 6 bars, I love the looks and ride I get from them.

Thanks, I was debating 16s or 18's but couldn't find a 18 inch kit, but if I can get by with the 16 kit I'm going with 18 inch bars : )

The road6 bars have end caps at the end of each corner, which makes it a million times easier to internally wire if you wanted to
