Default Air intake upgrade question?

Hey guys, I saw the sportster 72 and i notice it had a pretty nice looking air intake. Round instead of the oval one that comes with my 2006 sportster xl883. So i decided i want my bike to have an intake like that, amazon has an arlen ness for a really good price $112.00. I've read the guide several times and seen several youtube videos as well (its funnt but works) and it seems super easy. However, at the dealer someone metion Carb rejetting. Is that something that is necessary after installing the intake? and how hard is it in a scale from 1-10 (1 not knowing how to turn a screw, 10 knows how to build a rocket ship haha)
thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have to rejet unless you are changing or have changed your pipes as well.

Yeah if you have the stock pipes you will be just fine with the AC upgrade. Re-jetting is when you install lager/higher flowing jets in the carb to add more fuel flow. When you add high flow AC and pipes the engine will need more fuel to run right and add power. So when you install the larger jets you get more fuel. I have EFI on my bike so I got a PC III to adjust the fuel trims. I tried to keep this as simple for you as I could.

Thanks, guys for all the info. Time to buy the part and start "pimping" out the bike.
