Glad to see it works on the 2012.

When can I expect mine?

I didn't need to move or rotate it at all. The new unit is the exact same size and dimensions as the original. You just unbolt the old one and remove it from the outer case and slide the new one in. It's possible that mine may be in a slightly different spot since my bike was a custom order with the mini apes installed at the factory. With the different handlebars, they may have repositioned the speedometer.

Ok that makes sense. I have mine on order with the fuel sensor. Hope to get it soon.

I decided to skip the fuel tank sensor for now. Wasn't in the mood to mess around with removing the gas tank. I'll probably throw it on next year.

In the meantime, the unit still works fine for everything else. It recognizes the fuel sensor is missing and just doesn't display fuel level at all.

I didn't even know this unit also displays the gear you are in. A nice bonus that I discovered after installing!

Do the low fuel light still operate as it did on the stock unit?

Yes. It is unaffected. It works normally.

Can the mileage be set to what you currently have? Does it read it somehow or are you stuck back at 0 again?

The first step of the install is to hook up a data cable(included) to transfer over the mileage. It copies over in about 2 seconds. That is one of the advantages of using the actual Harley parts. I've heard of a lot of issues in getting the mileage to transfer over correctly when using after market products.

I wish it was mine though. If you sent me one Id be more than happy to review and install it (on my bike) for you. With tons of pictures too! Then you can decide if you want one.
I'll do that as soon as I win the lottery
