Default Z Bars for 883 Iron

Has onyone here swaped out there stock bars no rise Zbars and were you able to use all the stock controls and cables. Thanks for any help.

you should be able to use the stock control housing. probably have to change the grips. depending on the rise of the bars you may or may not be able to use the stock clutch, brake, throttle, and electrical cables.

i just installed 8" road6customs bars on my stock risers.
didnt need to swap any cables
kept the stock grips.

My friend put some 16 inch z bars on his, yes he had to replace everything.

Ive thought about putting 16" on it but still want to keep the drag bar style with a little more attitude than the stock bars thats why I was looking at the no rise Zbars the only thing I can find diffrent about them is 1" in width & am hopeing not to have to change any thing for that . I found some Zbars on the Debrix website & think they might work for what IM going for.Anyone try those. And thanks for the replys. Ill look into LA Choppers

Licks cycles makes z bars various sizes i put 10" z bars on mine only had to swap the brake line out and kinda fudge with the control cables a bit to gain a little slack other than that 2 hrs tops swapping bars..

nope, just disconnected the bracket holding it to the triple tree. so now it hangs loose.
i do want a new braided brake line. a less ugly version of what i have right now

Nice bars looks like you did the tank lift to. Are you going to do a wire tuck.
