Default 99 sporty 883 hiccup on take off and low rpms

Hello all. New here. I been riding for few years now but recently purchased my first HD. It ran fine the first few months but now i am having issues. I have done alot of research and seems to be the same problems most sporties have with replacing the crankcase position sensor. But i dont think my scoot has one. She is a 99 sportster 883. Open drag pipes everything else stock.

Starts and idles fine. Once she get five miles or so down the road( full operating temp) she hicccups and chugs like it only hittin on one cyclinder. Mainly does this when taking off from stop lights. Embarassing to say the least. Once i am on the highway and RMPs lil higher than take off she does fine. So basicly does it on take off and when i shift up and low RPMs. Interstate and highway speeds runs like a dream. Any help or ideas would be great. Also with it being a 99 i dont believe i have comp diag on the speedo. But plz correct me if i am wrong. Thanx in advance........

Check to make sure your accelerator pump is working. If that is fine, turn your mixture screw out 1/8th of a turn.

+1 on turn your mixture screw out an 1/8th of a turn on your carb. Should improve, ride it and if symptoms improve but not totally go another 1/8 and you should be set

Take of air cleaner, twist throttle and look for spray of gas in carb.

Underside of carb near intake. You can get to it if the plug blocking the access hole is pulled.
