All this time I thought the previous owner actually went out and spent money on an Illinois dipstick. Hahaha!

I always liked the dip dots because they make them nicely detailed. My bike came out of Illinois. I'm the second owner. I'm not certain as to whether the original owner or the dealer put them on the bike, but they're about the size of a quarter. This'll give you an idea of the size and finish. I like them because they've been on there since the bike was purchased. I'm afraid that taking them off will ruin them, I do like the idea of having it on the dipstick although mine is a thermometer and it's probably where it got it's name (dip dot).
