Default Rear Shock Length on a 72

I've been trying to look up online what the length of the rear shocks are on the 2012 SeventyTwo but to no avail. I wanna lower mine, but make sure the shocks I get are a decent length. I'm not trying to lower it so I can get my feet to the ground, just for looks. I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs

basically, I found a set of 11" Progressive 412's locally for $135. Worth it for my bike?

The stocks are 12's. Just switched mine out for lick's 10's and not sure if I like em yet. I actually liked the bike "tall". I'm giving it a week.

The 10' dropped it waaaay more than expected. It feels almost rigid. Handles better and feet are def flat on ground. I think every half an inch counts depending on your riding style.

these being 11's, I'm not sure that's worth the cost - even if it is half price. From my experience with this bike though, a little suspension might be necessary. I've bounced of the seat quite a few times already.

Have you posted any pics with the Lick's shocks yet?

Yeah. I like em but you'll have to remove either the reflectors or the belt guard. Or both, like I did. They were hitting each other and bent em all to hell. Then again, I had them at the weakest setting at first and have since tightened them up. It definitely looks lowered but not like it would be on struts on anything. I also considered the Spitfire spring struts but I'm not sure how they'd work

This is good to know. I want to clean up the rear fender, moving the number plate carrier which would leave a sizeable gap between the fender and tyre. I also wouldn't mind better rear shocks. So progressive 11" shocks sounds like a visual and handling upgrade? Would lower the bike an inch and give better handling.

If i added a further 1" lowering block, would it bottom out on the fender?

How did you remove the rear reflectors, I'm getting new tires and I'm going to remove the belt guard but I wasent sure how to get them off. I have the same bike (2012)?
