I have forward controls from an '04 1200 Custom I'd like to swap for mids.

Do you know if '04 mid fits an 11 Iron 883?

I am definitely interested if it does.

 

From everything I've read in this and the XL Forum, there shouldn't be an issue; however it would be wise to verify with some of the other experts on here, or at the dealer, if there would be any fitment issues.

 

Great. I'll look around and ask. I guess it's equally important that my mids also work on your 04' 1200 custom. BTW, is it silver or black?

From HD's parts page, it looks like forward control for 04-05 and 06-later are separated. I'm not so sure if they can be swapped.
