Go figure? I just did some more checking and the 1996 CH XLH 1200S is listed under 1995. I don't think they made an "S" in '95, but what ever, it is there, but not under the 1996 parts finder.
Thanks for the link!

You do get what you pay for in regards to sockets and torx bits. Cheaper stuff will round off, wrenches will flex, strip bolt heads, etc. I have the full SAE/Metric/Torx set from Snap-On (I wrench for a living) and I've beat the hell out of them and they haven't failed me. Ditto with the sockets and wrenches (I also use Gear Wrench XL GearBoxes) and they're awesome. 12 point is an added bonus.

12 point sockets are good for 12 point fasteners, If your 6 point bolt needs some umph use a 6 point socket.

I used to wrench for a living, Snap-on makes very good quality tools and I have a few. But your not getting what you pay for. Snap-on is at the opposite end of the get what you pay for spectrum, your over paying for what you get. (mostly the name)

snap on makes good tools but if you don't own a shop and don't have a truck visit your home, where do you take it if it breaks? I can't wait a week or two for a mail order replacement.
