No lock will hamper a thief. Disc lock, steering lock are only there to let you fall of your bike someday as at some point in time you will forget. Oh, and Harley made locks do not exist. Only Harley branded ones. Sensible parking and good insurance are the only way to protect your valuables.

Yeah it's a false sense of security, around here it's the 2X4 thing with four guys in a ramp door cargo trailer, even with an alarm the bikes two feet in the air and halfway in the trailer before the alarm goes off and 15 seconds later the door is up and they are off with the 4 guys and your bike in the trailer. They will do it right in a resturant, motel or walmart parking lot in broad daylight.

I have that very lock you're looking at, orange and all. I like it, it's sturdy and is built well. I've yet to other about it since its got the reminder cord

Either chain lock it to a buddies bike, or something adaquate. (wrap around the frame, they use state of the art tools and can cut through the disk) Use a "BF" chain and lock.
Again its just there to slow em down while you find your equalizer.
Keep your insurance up to date and make sure your bike and things are covered.
(Yet again these ..... are helping the insurance market get richer.)
