Default SEII slip-on baffles removal

Does anyone have SEII slip-on muffler baffles removed? Will it sound better or worse? Will it change the exhaust back pressure? I am planning to remove them, thank you. Alex

I had the SE II on my bike before my short shots.
I have read places that the baffles need to stay in because of precise tuning.

I also was concerned about the sound, wanted more.
I purchased the Big City Thunder baffles. DAMN, did they get louder?

They sound great, they are on my brotherssporty, and it is louder than my short shots.

That would be a good way to go.

Hmm I may look into those Big City baffles myself.
By the way nice looking bike boodro883c, your bike looks familiar for some reason.

I've reported this before, but I replaced the SE II baffles with Big City Thunder baffles. There was a noticable improvement in mid-range and the carb farts went away.... and yes, they are louder. I seriously like the looks of the Short Shots, but it's running so damn good with this combination, I'm scared to mess with it.
