Oil? Who needs oil!!

Yes, It works wonderfully. Quiet, smooth shifting (although 3rd is always a heavy twack!) and as I understand better on the clutch.
I am surprised by the debate given that our bikes demand the best we are obligated to give our rides the very best to them if we expect the very best from them.
I was amazed at the power increase, I guess Ester is doing her job in there as the HP has increased throttle response significantly.
Thanks for all the responses, I had a difficult time finding anyone who carried anything 100% synthetic, in Israel one take what one can get.
Cheers.

So I spoke with Redline and they do recommend their standard GL-5 for the sportster primary/trans.
I honestly just dont trust this. Regardless of what everyone says, it can harm your yellow metals.
So I found this http://www.spectro-oils.com/heavy-du...chaincase-oil/
says that its formulated for sportsters....might be worth a try

Guys,
I live in a place where none of what you are writing about matters cause its not imported. My posting is meant for the general Sportster rider, in side or outside CONUS.
As I originally said Motul 7100 4T 20W50 runs good, is 100% synth and is replaceable where I live so should be considered inleu of the HD (pricey) stuff.
It is great to have Amsoil (I tried to become an importer but they wanted 4 40 ft containers sales minimum!!), Redline, RedBull etc... but where you are is what you can run is paramount, to me its Motul 7100.
90,000KM with no issues I did not make happen myself. To me the 2008XLC 105th anniversary issue is a good, reliable bike for 3 years and counting.
