I have been seeing/speaking with a lot of people who have early 2000 year bikes with under 5,000 miles and I just can't believe some of the low mileage bikes I have seen. Just curious as to your mileage and how many of the sportster riders ride daily.

I'll start off, 9,856 miles on my 2011 Iron. Had 6 miles when I took it home in Sept of 2011. I ride almost dailly to work (70 mile round trip) and a lot of weekend/fun rides. I bobbed the bike around 3,000 miles and really enjoy the hell outta it.

How about you guys?

 

I bought my 2006 1200C last year in August. It had 3000 miles on it, it has 11,000 on it now. I ride daily to work weather permitting... I have young kids at home and a wife who works evenings and most weekends, so I don't get a lot of "fun" rides.

I saw the same year 2000ish bikes for sale last year when I was looking... rarely did one have over 10K on the odometer.

 

2007 1200C 17,956 miles

 

2003, 1200c 22,000

 

I traded for my '03 1200 3 years ago it had 4200 mi in it when I got it. It has 25,000 now. I didn't get to ride at all in 2010 because of having hips replaced and complications. When I got it I was still working. Had a 65 mi round trip every day. Had to retire because of the botched hip implants. I still get to ride a lot now. Believe it or not the Sporty is the only bike that I can comfortably ride.

2010 1200c 2625...I need to get out more

 

2008 1200C with 15,700 miles on the clock.

 

32,043 on my 2006 1200L

 

2012 Nightster, 324 miles. Just bought it on 7/15. Rains almost daily so I've taken the Jeep to work. Winter is our riding season down here. Put around 18K on my Deluxe last year though.
