Question Radiantz Tail Light / Brake Light LED's Too Bright?

While installing shorter stand-offs on the tail lights, I installed the led's to go with my smoked covers today. On my way in to work tonight, I had a fellow motorcyclist pull up to me at the light and tell me my brake lights were stuck on. I thanked him and he went on. I looked behind and they were functioning like normal. While at work tonight, I took a moment to turn them on and step behind a ways. They sure do look bright, and when I turn on the brake lights they get a bit brighter. I see where the guy was thinking they were stuck on though, as the brake lights almost appear to be on before I turn them on. I almost wish a few of the running light led's were turned off, and only came on with the brakes.

Anyone else ever get asked that? Now this was at night BTW, not during the day, which I am sure they work quite well.

He noticed you... that's a good thing. I had someone tell me the same thing while I was going down the freeway, it freaked me out and I pulled off the next exit to find that they were working perfectly. I have LED tail lights with smoked lenses.

I sure do feel safer than using the red bulbs that I got from the dealer.

Hang in there, apparently that good samaritan has never been punted down the road before. That's why I am not a fan of those itty bitty LED blinkers that so many think are cool.

Not needed for only doing 2 rear LEDs.
