Default 10" bars, need new lines?

I bought some 10" Nash Midget Gimps solely because Nash stated in their advertising that it would not require longer lines.

I haven't received them yet, I should tomorrow or in the next couple of days, but I read about a guy installing 8" bars and said his clutch line was pretty tight and for anything taller would need a longer line.

So crap. These are ten inch.

Do any of you know? This is for a 2010 Iron.

How about the wiring for the controls, will they need extended too?

I have 10" zbars on my 48 (not sure if nightster cables are any different) but only cable that needed for sure changing was the brake line and your control wires may require some adjustment moving some zip tires around to get some slack. I went ahead and purchased all new cables for the look and quality of upgraded lines but they seemed to be much longer than needed but gives you peace of mind...hope this helps

Yeah thank you very much for the information.
So damn, I'm going to have to bleed the brakes. I don't have any tools! Thankfully I have friends though.

I wonder how much new cables will run me. This is starting to add up.

Excellent, thank you very much.

I may check out the Burly but I doubt they are a better price.

This is right the only cable you should need to change is the Break line, i installed the 10" Z Bars and that is all i had to change on my nightster Cheers Mate

Finally got around to ordering this brake line and they are out of stock on all of the BYO BLK Brake Line Kit Single Disc 6' kits.

Bummer.
