My brother has one and its a good buy for the money. But, its always sliding back on his head and we noticed that the straps are not even on each side. I went with a novelty helmet because I figured if you are wearing a half helmet it probably doesn't matter weather its DOT or not. I have a full-face helmet for long rides colder weather and if I ride some serious twisties. But for just riding around town and cruising nice and easey the novelty is the way to go and it was only 10 bucks.

 

UPDATE: For anyone also interested in this helmet.

I called leatherup and they said it may be another 30-60 days before the helmet is in stock, but they will have it in for the fall season. So if your wanting one like me. KEEP WAITING.
