Default Handle bar advice

Hello again everyone... I was looking into getting a new set of handlebars for my 2010 48. I currently have stock bars and i find myself leaning too far forward (at least thats what it feels like) I was looking into maybe 12" or 14" bars in black. I'm 5' 8". Any ideas? Suggestions? Complaints? Thanks guys!

I have a 2009 custom, factory 6 inch riser, 9.5 inch apes. About shoulder lever for me and im about 6' 3". Anything taller than shoulder level imo looks stupid. I know here in the great state of Louisiana the handlebar grips cant exceed 15 inches from the lowest point of the seat, which mine are about 16. Only thing I would do different is get 1 1/4 bars and wire them internally, looks so much cleaner. One day I will probably do that, once I fix some other stuff.

I have 14" road 6 bars on my Iron. I'm 6'2" and they are right at shoulder level.

I'm the same height as you and I switched to stock nightster bars. I tried drag bars and Biltwell tracker bars and they both kept me too far forward. The nightster bars look similar to the stock 48 bars, but are a little bigger, which allowed me to sit just a little more upright than the stock ones. Plus you can find them for relatively cheap used. I have no experience with 12 or 14 in bars.

Some guy I saw one day had 12" apes on his iron. I asked if i could sit on it because i was thinking about doing them. They seemed perfect for me (granted i didnt actually ride it, just sat on it). Im 5"10.
