why do i need a riser? the bars seem like you have to reach up higher than a regular stock nightster bar so why do some ppl say get risers? do i need to get a riser to install these? if so what brand riser sorry confused here

You will need some form of risers to mount the bars to. I have seen some Frisco bars that have welded "risers" on them already.

You should be able to just swap 'em with where your stock bars were. Unless the bars are going to hit the tank or something, and I don't see how those would, and as long as they are 1" diameter bars, it shouldn't be a problem.

I just installed the Biltwell Frisco bars on my scoot this morning. They fit right in the stock clamp. The stock brake line just barely fits. You can bend the hard line a bit to make it work but it's tight. I think I'll end up getting a new line +4. Also, you need the 1" bars

If you have the stock risers, they will work just fine.

I'll get some better pics tomorrow. If I find that I like them, I'll drill them for internal wiring this winter and move the blinkers to the forks. I just wanted to get them on to see how they are.

It took me about 1 1/2 hours total to put them on. Just take your time.

Your Nightster already has stock risers and a stock bar clamp. You don't need additional risers or clamp.

I believe that they are 2".
