Turn Signal Going In and Out

Turn Signal Going In and Out
Ok, so I've read a ton of turn signal problems on this forum, but none listed are quite like mine.
The bike: 2002 Sportster 1200 Custom, 2K miles
The problem: My turn signals work most of the time. However, at times while I'm riding, out of nowhere they stop blinking. When this occurs the front two turn signals stay on (like they normally do) but will not blink, and the back turn signals will not light up at all. In addition, the turn signal indicator on my little dash (beside the high beam and oil indicators) will not flash. Also when this happens, my hazards will not work. But once I turn the bike off (usually because I've reached my destination) and wait for a while, I'll come back, turn the bike on, and they work. I bought the bike used from a dealer, and I bought the year warranty. Is this something that would normally be covered under warranty? I called the dealer shop, and they said it depends on what is wrong (which is what I'm trying to figure out). I'm kinda waiting on it to get worse so I can take it to them while it's occurring. However, it doesn't happen all that often. I don't want to take it in and they're like, "I couldn't find a problem. You're gonna have to pay for this." Any help would be greatly appreciated!
What I've done: Replaced the rear turn signal bulbs.
