Default Fork tube blinker relocate ?

I just installed fork tube clamps and was wondering if the the 2 pieces are suppose to clamp completely together? I have a gap where the 2 pieces meet and i dont want to overtighten in sake of them cracking....Is this normal?

You cant over tighten it if you use a torque wrench and a service manual.

I don't believe the service manual covers aftermarket parts.

Now to answer the question, I have the same clamps, loosen the screws and re tighten the front first closing the gap then snug up the rear screw. This way leaves the gap in the rear.

My turn signal relocation used longer bolts where the triple tree clamps on the forks.

That is the Harley one, I believe he is using the type that clamp around the fork tubes to mount the signal to.

Oh, well my bad then. Hell for those I would just snug it down and locktite it then. I wouldnt over tighten to avoid the possibility of damaging the tubes
