Default Iron 883 Bobber

I have a blacked out 2012 Iron 883 with 17 inch ape hangers and wanted to do a few "bobber" things to it. Eventually i want white grips, a white springer seat, white wall tires, and a short bobber style rear fender.

I would love to know where i can get a bobber style rear fender for an iron 883, a WHITE springer seat, and WHITE grips??? I have been looking and cant find anything at all really. Any help would be great on where to find any of these parts!!

Welcome to the forum!

Here is a Link to a Bobber Seat that will bolt onto your Iron. Some white leather and that is one thing on your list.

Low Brow or Chop Cult will probably have the white grips.

Search around on the forum, you will find more than a few guys that have chopped their stock fender with how-to.

Check Ebay for the white grips. You'll need to buy a set with the throttle tube in the package. I think it was like $15 shipped for the white grips and throttle tube. Buy a couple sets of replacements as well. After a few months, they're like $9 a set and it's good to have a set readily available if you need them.

^^you shouldn't need the throttle tube. cut your stock grips off and leave the throttle tube in place and slip the new ones on, that's it. the throttle side grip is a little bigger to compensate for the throttle tube. i just did this with a set of joker grips just like this in black.

I didn't think about that. When I changed to the rubber "coke bottle" grips I had a set of aftermarket HD grips on before and the throttle tube was molded to them. As in the grip/tube was all one piece.

Yeah I cut mine too. Though I did just get a new set of grips and the throttle sleeve was accidentally not included. My old one is damaged, which is why I bought the set...durr.
