Don't drive like a 17-year-old and you (and the drivers around you) will have a much better chance of not getting hurt or killed. Don't think that god or the universe or whatever is always going to be there for you, you got lucky this time. Glad you and everyone around you is OK but you really need to use this as a wake up call and change your riding style.

i know the feeling... have had Him on my bike for a couple of experiences like yours. i always try to find out what i could have done differently. dressing to ride is one thing that i do believe in- had a friend who had to lay his bike down on the freeway recently, under cars- he was fully dressed in leathers and was fine, with just some bruises. most likely would not have survived without the proper dress.
glad you are o.k. - and its not a bad thing to connect with the Man upstairs!

Quit riding like a "I know how to drive/I know everything" teenager. I'm glad you learned to let go of the rear brake to straighten yourself back out...Sometimes you even need to gas it to straighten back up.....Now go practice riding.
