FWIW I like the idea of a sportster for police, mainly because of maneuverability, such as the ease to ride up and down stairs and dirt roads.
That is a cool looking Sportster. I still would not want a ticket from the officer on it though.
I wouldnt feel bad about getting pulled over by that, I got a ticket in my car by a cop on a mountain bike once, he even had a little siren and flashing blue lights on it. Now thats something thats emarrassing.
