What do YOU want the bike to be? I'd say that if that one reaches out and grabs ya, get it. If not - keep looking. What anyone else thinks is really irrelevant, and the fact that you're askin' tells me that you haven't really decided yet either.
Don't be in a rush - there's a ton of bikes in every shape/style/size - keep looking 'til you find the one that keeps you googlin' for similar pictures, reading all the specs, and makes you smile every time you see it.

Well, if it is a hard tail, and that's what you want, then for the right price it would be good.
A springer front end and welding a hard tail on can be expensive and/or labor intensive jobs. Tins, however, are fairly easy. So if that's the direction you plan on heading, this may be an opportunity to jump in halfway there.
