Default Screamin Eagle Pro super tuner tuning

This weekend I'm planning to install my new Rough Crafts exhaust and Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather. This requires some retuning and I was wondering whether anybody has some tips or even maps they have used for the same set up?

Mine is a 2011 Iron..

Thanks!

I would recommend buying the software and cable as well. start with the stage one map that it comes with and start smart tuning right away. the smart tune feature will dial in your VE tables then after that is done you can richen the motor by adjusting your AFR. It's not that hard to do.

If that tuner is auto-tune capable then I suggest buying that feature. When it comes to tuning guys take classes for weeks, and if by chance you set it too lean too you might scortch valves.

I too bought the SE Supertuner and then took my 1200R to my local dyno tuner. He ran it up to redline about 6 times and made adjustments along the way. Now it runs perfect. His service cost $100 and was well worth it.

Thats kind of my plan: do a basic tune and then bring it to the dealer..

I'm new to this forum but I am thinking about buying the SE Pro Super tuner for my 08 XL1200R Sportster, it has the vance and hines shortshots staggered exhaust and a K&n High flow filter on it. Is this the best way to go also been looking at the new cobra auto tune programmer.

Right. Ditto. Nice to have another person here that understands the SEPST!

Seems to me like the Power Vision is the rage here on the forums as of late. People love it. It is probably easier and even maybe a little more powerful than the super tuner - I know it has access to a few tables that the super tuner does not.

I made the mistake of taking mine to the dealer, and the results were dreadful...bike was missing, sputtering, etc. I don't have any SE parts. Their stage 1 download is generic. A total waste of money. I have a K&N a/c and a drilled stock exhaust.
I did some research, and found a local dyno tuner, and he fixed me up.
Most dealers do not have a dyno on site.
The SE Supertuner is specific to your bike. You must buy it new.
