I just melted my Frog Toggs to my exhaust on my last ride. I sprayed it down with WD-40 and let it soak awhile, then scraped most of it off with an old credit card. I then used Turtle Wax's Chrome polish and it melted the rest off with a little rubbing. Looks like new again.

0000 steel wool with hot soapy water will do the trick as well. I have big feet and somehow keep managing to touch the heel of my boot to the hot pipes. Thats how I got the rubber off mine.

You can also use oven cleaner....just make sure the pipes are warm when you spray it on.

Best thing I have found to remove plastic or rubber from chrome. Ride bike to get pipes hot. Remove large globs gently with credit card , bondo scrapper, etc. Spray 0000 steel wool with WD-40 while still hot, wipe the rest off. No scratching. Wipes off easily.

+1 Don't think I'd try this on black exhaust. But like he said, warm the pipes and use EZ-OFF works like a charm.

Ditto. Scrub it when the pipes are cold. Comes off easily.
