I have a pair of HD boots (cant recall the model) and some Durango Harness boots. Neither fit very well so most of the time I just wear my PF Flyers "Center Lo".

I wear Sear's 6" work boot pretty much every day, unless there's snow.
I wear them riding and I can walk miles in them. About $40-$45. They make them in black, too, but somehow I think the tan boots are more sturdy. Heavy coat of Sno-Seal melted in and they're good to go.
I broke my left foot in half on a Yamaha about 24 years ago. I was going for a quick jaunt to the store wearing loafers. There's a whole bunch of bones in your foot. Stiff boots that won't fly off (slip on means slip off) are your best bet, but everybody has their own risk management. I sincerly hope that everyone enjoys wearing the Chuck's while they can.
You ain't **** unless you got a limp.

Check these out - style of chucks (sorta) but designed to give some protection on the bike.

Those are nice, have you worn them Mann? I wonder how breathable they are for all day wear and how comfortable with the reinforced areas?

Not this model, but I had a pair of their Urban boots - same idea, but look like dress boots, so I could wear them with a suit. They were as breathable as my Danners (so very) and comfortable walking around all day or standing up training for 7 hours. These look more relaxed than mine (which I wore to death), so I guess these will be equally good.

TCX (Oxtar as they used to be called) make good gear - say what you like about Italians, but they know how to make shoes.

Thanks! I Might have to try and snag a pair. I can wear sneakers to work and try to as often as possible. My boots just don't cut it for long days here in the office, feet are mad at me!
