Default getting map out of bike screamin eagle pro tuner

So a little while back I wrote about a problem of sputter in my bike after Harley installed a stage 1. I took it to a local shop and they were going to download and customize the map in the bike to fix the problem. They fixed the problem in the RPM range that was sputtering but they made it sputter more at idle and really low RPM. Of the youtube and owners manual I do not see any good tutorials for getting what is on the bike currently out of it and editing it then reflashing. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? I have cord, software and pro tuner, just don't know how to look at what is currently in the bike, then edit, then flash.

Out of curiosity, when you got the bill, does it say what part number(if there is one) the map pack is? That might help. I'm betting the bill just says map DL etc..

the last flash was saved in the VCI ...with super tuner open , click on the fork icon beside the tool box and click manually select file , then click on the VCI file and doudle click the map , when you open the file click save as , so you can remane it and the orignal file will be saved ( do this so if there is an Fup you can go the the orignal file/tune)....

You may also want to spend some time reading this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/elect...on-thread.html

Make sure you read the Supertuner manual, good information in that.

I know how to download a map into the bike... but I did not put the current map in the bike that is there. So I'm wondering if there is a way to upload the map from the bike to my computer. From reading the other posts I might try this smart tune thing and see how that goes. Either way I'd really like to start with what is in the bike currently.

Sorry I thought he was telling me how to open a map, I didn't see the VCI tab to the right. Got it figured out now tonight hopefully I can get this smart tune figured out. At 30-80 Kpa air to fuel is 14.2 and my problem is all right at starting out in a gear, those are the only 14.2 on the map do you think just changing those to like 13.9 before I start might help?

Then you gotta look at making changes in the VE table....

I see you have 2 into 1 exhaust , i had the same issue around 2500 rpm , and had it on the dyno 3 x to figure it out , well i figured it out , took them off and cut em up..what a PAIN IN MY ***....never run 2 into 1 again....
