short shots seem very popular..

 

Short Shots are probably the most popular, at least as evident from what we see online.

They are cheaper than the Big Radius, so that may affect your decision.

Both are loud.

 

Had short shots and just got Bassani Slash cut....if you want loud and obnoxious get them....they are alot louder than short shots

 

I went with the Short Shots on my nightster, really like them. They pop like crazy on decel though.

 

Popping on deceleration is often indicative of an air leak in the exhaust system itself. Hth.

 

short shots are cheaper and as far as looks go there isn't much in it but i do think it sucks that the big radius don't have the visible chrome tips sticking out from the black heat shields, i don't know why they don't look the same as the dyna big radius.

i think the big radius perform a bit better (says the V&h website)"Big Radius set the standard for a custom look with quality and perfection in style and performance."

where as the boasting point for short shots is affordability and not performance.

Even though the big radius look cheap for the sportsters id have them because they are less common.
