I'm just curious, How many people turn their bars with the front wheel out (right) when on the kick stand? How many have the bars with front wheel in (left) when on the kick stand? Is one way better than the other or just personal preference?
Usually, it will naturally fall to the left. Depending on the angle of the bike when it is on the stand, it is more stable if the bars are turned left.
In MSF course taught turn bars Left w typical kickstand. More stable. Also teach you grip R hand grip and brake as you throw the leg over to get on your ride again for more stability

I Didn't know either and wondered the samething until my basicridercourse instructor told the class to always turn your wheel to the side that your kick stand is which is left. he showed us very simply that it is easier to push the bike over if the wheel is on the right than it is on the left. He demonstrated this by pushing the bike to the right in both positions. Obviously if you push the bike to the left in both positions its the same because the kick stand is saving you
