Default What size wire wrap?

Alright so I'm ordering online some nice kuryakyn wire wrap for my handlebar control wires and I'm not quite sure how to measure what size would work lol. It's either between 3/8" or 1/2"...I was thinking 1/2" would be way too big around but worried 3/8" might be too small. If I could find it in store then it wouldn't be an issue but since I'm getting it online I don't wanna have to return it. What you think? And I apologize in advance for the dumb question just want it to look nice without big excess wire loom

I had the same problem. Drove all over town looking for braided wrap. Tried stereo install place, radioshack, circuit city. Nada. I did find a DIY shop that teaches MC repairs/maintenance. They ordered both sizes for me and let me choose wihich one I needed.

Yeah i looked all over town and all anybody had was the cheap plastic wire loom and there was no way i was using that. So what size you end up picking?

Wish i could tuck them in the handlebars but i dont wanna mess with it haha
