Hello there I am nate an I'm trying to get my sportster up an running again. The problume that I had was an still is back in march rode it to work an bike was cutting out in power then takes off cuts out power repetes till I got to work. The bike had no power about half way home tapped up by the electical start/ kill switch/ run switch up by the throttle an would click up there? After two months of checking about every thing I could I have replaced the key ignition switch, starter solenoid, an push start button. Battery cables are tight, I can jump the solenoid an get power to the starter, battery read 14.08 with tender an 13.80 with out it an key on. After the push button got replaced starter engauged for 5-10seconds then no power any place. No power to the head light at all too. Im lost on what to look at next but maybe replace the electrical start controls with the wire kit for it by the throttle? Any an all ideas are welcomed sorry so much to read. Thank you Nate.

 

Maybe a loose ground wire? Vibration causes it to loose connection?
