Advice Requested (Power Vision)
Hello All,
I have a 2012 Forty Eight, and I'm seriously considering picking up a DynoJet PowerVision. My intentions are to eventually go to a full stage 1, but in the meanwhile, I have decided to run a stock set up. During the interim, I would like to take advantage of a "performance stock" tune and run that while I acquire the exhaust and air cleaner.
I am considering purchasing the unit from Fuelmoto based on the feedback in the forum, but I had some questions.
1) With the performance stock tune that they provide, I wonder if there's anything I need to consider in running a tune done on a separate bike and performed at a different place in the US (elevation, altitude, etc taken into consideration?).
2) With their stage 1 tune, would I eventually still have to get the bike fine tuned to get it at its most optimum settings (for both the stage 1 and performance stock fuelmoto tunes)?
3) Is it more beneficial to purchase the unit locally, and put the cost savings towards getting it dyno tuned by a local pro?
4) What can I expect from the "performance stock" tune? Lower temps, smoother acceleration, etc?
Thanks in advance for the input. I'm sure the responses will help my decision making when it comes time for purchase.

I can't answer your questions regatding the stock performance tune (I have only used other than stock tunes with my Power Vision). I can tell you that I have really enjoyed my Power Vision and have found it easy to use and very dependable. I can also say that I have received excellent customer support from both Fuelmoto and Dynojet. I would recommend either e-mailing or calling Fuelmoto with your questions and concerns so that you can get their professional opinion. I have found them easy to talk to and very informative. Good luck with your decision.
