Default Oil tank recommendations

Looking for some oil tank recommendations for a rigid 03 1200C build. Would prefer no or little fab work needed. Thanks in advance for the suggestions (and pics if you've got 'em)!

Nobody? Guess I better pose this question to a chopper forum.

I'm partial to the mid-70's electric start oil tank. In fact I'm thrying to find out if I can transplant one to my 98 mod. 1200C. The tank on this bike is u-g-l-y! The PO put a chrome one on and it just emphasizes the chunky look of it. That is, in my own personal opinion - yours may very and that's perfectly okay with me!!! [got flamed recently for expressing my opinion - on a thread asking for opinions...]

Anyway... that style tank is readily available on ebay or at swaps. I particularly like the big beefy cap as opposed to that wimpy little rubber cork on my present one.

This one is way over priced - again in my own humble opinion - but if you're not familiar, it provides good visuals.

I like the way that tank looks. I would have to work out some mounting points for it though, and I am trying to avoid that. My highest priority functionality, followed by ease of fit with the custom frame, THEN looks! Thanks for the reply.
