Go to the hardware store and buy some plastic hole pugs.
I have the Road6 Customs mount also, works great!

The Road6 product page says:

"WANT TO MOUNT THIS TO YOUR SHOCK BOLT? NO PROBLEM!
No extra charge to change the mounting hole diameter!
Just let us know PRIOR to purchasing!"


What is it designed to mount to by default?

I originally cutt stock bracket and screw into passenger peg hole.then I came across the belt guard license plate bracket thread on here and did that turns out sick I believe thread was called finally found use for belt guard

Once I remove the "standard" plate mount from the fender...

If you buy the HD plate you get a badge to cover those hole....in fact i have one if anyone needs it for cost of postage but i am in the UK so prob not much help for you States guys
