Deciding between the 883 and the 1200

RE: Deciding between the 883 and the 1200
As the only one (so far) admitting I bought what others told me to, I must say I didn't really care which model I bought. Many advised that due to my size and the fact that I might want to ride 2 up the 1200 would be the smarter decision. For me the 1200Cdid havethe look, the chrome, drag bars that I wanted and being used the prices were similar.
I knew I wanted a anniversary model and I am very pleased.

But, I think so posts are correct, I want the 1200 and know myself, I am not going to completely happy with an 883 knowing I can make it a 1200. But, I sitll have 3 days to think about it some more.
Thanks everyone! Continue the poll....

When I was looking I really didn't care what I got. I was leaning torwards the 1200 for the power. I really like the look of the 1200 block with the black casing and silver cooling fin edges, as opposed to the grayish looking 883. But while shopping, there were some really nice 883 out there that looked really good with the gray block. So basically I took whatever deal came my way that looked good, fortunately it was a 1200.

My husband and I shared his 1200c before I bought mine. I liked theway it handledand was certain there was no way I'd buy anything less than a 1200. Then I met her (an883)and fell in love. I don't feel like I settled for less than I wanted I think I got exactly what I wanted. Funny thing is now I think he likes the way mine handles more than his own.
