Default Sportster handle bar Help

Ok Im looking to put a set of Drag bars on my 07 sportster 883xl and would really like to keep my stock controls n Cables My problem is this is all new to me and I need a little help on what bars will fit and allow me to use all my stock controls. Thanks for any help in guiding me also feel free to post up some pics of your sportster with drag bars

Most drag bars should have no problem using the existing parts. Just make sure the diameter of the bars are the same as factory.

Drag bars you wont have to do any changes to cables. just be sure and be careful you dont pinch your brake line or throttle cables when making the switch. your brake line will make an S shape when done. you can see mine in the pic

1 inch dia and dimpled for stock controls

1 inch diameter, and at least 30 inch in length, or they will hit the tank

How high can I have them using the stock controls say like a 4.5 rise?

I used all of the stock cables for my 6" Wild 1 Chubby Drag bars... NO problem!

Lots of room for adjustment. What's comfy for for one may not work for another. Cable length should work. I'm running 2007 Fat Bob bars flipped upside down with 1.5" cut off the ends. Set the bars to what feels good and go from there concerning mirrors.
