Default Mini apes

Ok I have a 2012 iron 883 I just got my forward controls installed over the week end. But now my bars feel to short. Is there any bars that can be almost bolt on, no cable.replacement? I read some where I could go with 8-10 inch bars and just re- route my cables and tweek my brake line?

Any thoughts? Tips? Dos? donts?
Thanks for the help in advanced.

05 sportster custom I put on mini apes and had to change out all the cables but the mini apes I got were off a buddies wide glide, oddly enough all my cables I got were also made for a wide glide. With the apes and forward controls on my sportster the ride feels great.

Road6custom mini apes 8", I have them currently and didn't have to change out any cables. I did extend the wires but that was only because I wired the bars internally.

I'm selling them if you want them.

I put 8" Chumps on the wife's Sporty (07 1200C) and had to replace the brake line and electrical extensions. Well worth the effort as she loves them.

On her custom did you leave the stock big a$$ riser? That would definetly make 8" chumps too big.
