So I got new exhaust clamps (they fit this time), antiseize (a godsend), new gasgets for the crossover pipes, and new hose clamps for the chrome pipe guards. It put everything together and start the bike up. Something doesn't sound quite right now.....

When I ride the bike and deccelerate from a high gear to low gear and listen, the bike sounds a bit "airy." I also here some popping too. Nothing loud, but it doesnt sound as smooth as it did. There's also this sounds thats like a "wub wub wub" which seems very airy sounding to me.

I am assuming this is an exhaust leak -- is this true? My guess is that the front header pipe going into the engine needs to be tightened up. There was some play in that pipe (it would rotate in the socket) after trying to get the original mufflers off. OR, could this be an issue with the crossover pipe? How do I tell?

Thanks for the help so far!
